I was always a little sceptical about inotify anyway. It seems as if there is a bug in the feisty inotify python bindings, which was a non starter to begin with. I managed to fix this problem, and I am liaising with people to see if this is a real bug. Secondly, it relied on me having to poll regularly, according to the example anyway. Thirdly, after reading Andy’s post I was convinced that inotify wasn’t the way to go. So the Refresh Config button stays.
