Hello!? Moron! Has coming onto IRC (or any other chat service at all) and saying "I'm bored" ever resulted in you becoming less bored?? No, of course it hasn't, so why do you do it!?
It is incredibly rude to other people, who feel they are somehow letting you down in not entertaining you enough. If you find sitting on IRC boring, if nothing is happening, do me a favour, fuck off and do something more interesting, then tell us about it when you get back so that the thousand other retards like you who like to tell us how bored they are might be inspired by your tale.
